In this session, you will learn from the shared experiences of Listerhill Credit Union as they have connected with the financial needs of today’s youth. You will hear about their discoveries and gain insight from their response as they anonymously surveyed college students from the University of North Alabama for honest feedback about credit unions. The session will offer effective approaches to meaningful dialogue as well as the importance of being positively different than traditional institutions. Today’s youth want a voice in their financial service and are ready to embrace the credit union cause if we will embrace them uniquely and individually. Speaker Bio:
 Brad Green is a seasoned financial executive with more than 20 years of credit union experience. As CEO, Listerhill has experienced an exploding and satisfying effort to reach today’s youth with the idea and value of owning a credit union. The credit union has conducted two successful Young & Free spokesperson campaigns, taught more than 2000 high school students through the National Endowment for Financial Education program, established a sub-branded branch on the campus of the University of North Alabama, and is currently establishing a center for financial education, which will offer personal financial management education to potentially every student on campus.
