ACCOMMODATIONS

CANCELLATION POLICY
No charge for substitutes at any time. Full refunds will be made if cancellation is received in writing and postmarked or faxed before February 15, 2010. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation is received between February 15 and March 1, 2010. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after March 1, 2010. All no-shows will be billed. Room cancellations must be made directly with the hotel, within their cancellation policies, or your credit card will be charged.

1:10 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Opening Session
A statewide constitutional officer (invited) will discuss the importance of political involvement and the key role credit unions play in the process.
2:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. Break
2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Regulatory Update
Officials from NCUA and DFPR will discuss important regulatory developments impacting the credit union industry.
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Credit Union Legislative Issues Briefing
Steve Olson (ICUL EVP/COO/General Counsel) and Keith Sias (ICUL Director of State Governmental Affairs) will brief participants for visiting with their legislators.
3:45 p.m. Hotel Check-in
3:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. State Capitol Visits (shuttle service provided)
Participants have a chance to personally visit with their legislators and to view the legislative process first hand. Please call your legislator to schedule an appointment. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and the State Capitol during this time period.
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Legislative Reception at a New Location:
THE GOVERNOR’S MANSION (shuttle service provided)
All state lawmakers will receive a printed invitation from the Illinois Credit Union League-Governmental Affairs Department. As a reminder, please contact your legislators prior to your arrival in Springfield, to let them know you will be in town, and encourage them to attend the reception. Complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided between the hotel and the Governor’s Mansion from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
